When Nils Carlson opened the doors of his new auto dealership in October of 1937, he was probably selling cars similar to the one above.
Carlson’s Motors has represented Chrysler products from the very beginning and except for the war years in the early 1940’s (when auto production was suspended), we have been exclusive to that brand.
Later, after the end of World War II Nils enjoyed many years of success as a prominent business man locally and somehow managed to balance the challenges of the car business with the needs of his wife and family.
His son, Dr. Berger Carlson joined the dealership shortly after retiring as a Concord area Physician-Surgeon and he managed the business for several years until his daughter Holly finally consented to take his place.
Come see why today Carlson’s Motors is known by customers both locally and throughout New England who value our business ethic and truly enjoy doing business with the people who are the :
CARLSON’S MOTORS FAMILY.

Holly Carlson General Manager
Holly, a third generation Carlson, was involved in multi-national oil distribution in Madrid, Spain for six years before returning to New Hampshire where she worked in international business. She became GM of Carlson’s in August of 2001.
Holly brought a fresh perspective to the dealership by insisting on a high level of customer service and ethical business practices. Her success in these areas was recognized by the business community where she was recently elected Treasurer of the New Hampshire Auto Dealers Association.
She’s proud of the dealership’s reputation and all of the employees who work so hard to make it happen.
